Can you tell what it is?
I love looking at the patterns of rugs and finding animals within them...this rug in particular contain two creatures but in exact the same part. It's like an optical illusion.
Can you see the animals in the picture?

Anime Drawing
Drawing Skills
If you like to draw, I find making the time to draw something most days of the week helps to keep them fresh. As a cartoon drawing refresher I decided to find images of two of my boyfriends favourite anime characters and draw them for him using pencil on printer paper in A5. A simple yet effective and thoughtful gift.
I'd always drawn Disney cartoon but this was my first attempt at anime.
I chose Killua's image because of the stern look and his steely gaze, looking out beneath his spiky hair. Perfect depiction of his character. For Gon's image I used the actual anime and paused it during one of his epic fights, at the moment he was going in for a killer move. The intensity on his face is one often portrayed during formidable fights in anime. Hunter x Hunter has many of these and each one is completely captivating.
Drawing something your are passionate about helps to improve skills.

Pie Faces
Happy Pie Faces
Whenever I cook a pie for dinner, I have to give it a smiley face instead of the a simple hole (which is done to let out the steam). So the face is always made before you cook the pie. And results are even happier.

Updates
Apologies for the influx of blog posts. I didn't realize up until yesterday that I could link all of my social media posts together. These posts stretch all the way back to September when I spent the time to discover instagram. Being 31, we grew up with when technology was beginning to develop. So when I was 16 the first phone I got actually looked like a brick, no jokes.
The Bosch 509e
I thought it was cool but I never really used it that often, as it was just a phone to let my parents know my whereabouts and occasionally text someone. I was used to using the good old phone box to call my friends.
So now I've treated myself to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Another good brick size phone but so much more to do on it except call and text. I use this phone for everything and have a huge stock of photos and videos on it (which I'll come back to later).
Getting back to the influx of images and posts. Everyday there are new discoveries be them big or small and I am forcing myself to move from hidden pen and paper (I have notebooks galore) to typing these thoughts, ideas and creations to share with anyone who cares to read it and join me in my journey to expressing all of these above out loud rather then locked up where no one can see.
